Vineet Chopra, MD, MSc

Dr. Vineet Chopra is the Department of Medicine’s Robert W. Schrier Chair of Medicine in the School of Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Prior to being recruited to CU Anschutz in October 2021, Vineet served as the inaugural Chief of Hospital Medicine at the University of Michigan Health System. He is the physician lead on the HMS Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) Use and Midline Use Initiatives. He has a particular interest in hospital-based medicine and clinical outcomes, and expertise in vascular-access-related complications and patient safety.
