Lubna Hossain, MPH

Lubna is a Data Analyst/Programmer for HMS. Before joining the HMS Coordinating Center, she worked as a Social and Clinical Research Specialist at the Carolina Center for Health Informatics. She holds a master’s degree in public health with a concentration in epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her background in public health research encompasses cancer epidemiology, community behavioral health, injury and violence prevention, and health informatics, while being centered on disproportionately impacted populations. She is passionate about leveraging data science tools and evidence-based methods to advance health equity.
