On November 21, 2025, HMS members took part in the joint scientific session hosted by the Michigan Thoracic Society (MTS) and the Michigan Chapter of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM). HMS Sepsis Physician Lead Dr. Hallie Prescott, HMS Critical Care Physician Co-Lead Dr. Paul Bozyk, and HMS Quality and Patient Safety Program Manager Pat Posa, RN, BSN, MSA, CCRN, FAAN, presented “Michigan Hospital Medicine Safety (HMS) Consortium – Quality Improvement Updates.” Additionally, HMS fellow Dr. Zahia Esber shared the latest developments in pulmonary care.
