Dr. Valerie Vaughn, HMS’ antimicrobial expert, gave an interview at the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM) in Las Vegas, Nevada, on how hospitalists can help improve antibiotic stewardship. Dr. Vaughn was also the first person to ever to be awarded best oral presentation by a trainee at the meeting. Dr. Vaughn presented her findings using HMS data.
