Clinical Data Abstractor Representation

An abstractor representative is elected to the HMS Data, Design & Publications subcommittee to provide input from the abstractor perspective on relevant topics related to data collection and quality improvement for both our ABX and Sepsis initiatives. This representative will serve as a resource for abstraction-related questions tied to meeting discussions but will not address general abstraction inquiries during meetings unless directly related to the agenda. They will also communicate updates back to the abstractor group as directed by the Coordinating Center, while maintaining confidentiality on sensitive topics until formally shared. Suggestions about database design should continue to be submitted through the HMS ticketing system (e.g., Zendesk).
