Sepsis Alliance to Host Second Annual Unite for Sepsis Symposium in Washington, D.C.

Sepsis Alliance will host its second annual Unite for Sepsis Symposium on June 11–12, 2026, in Washington, D.C., uniting clinicians, researchers, technologists, policymakers, and advocates to explore new science, share actionable insights, and build collaborations that drive meaningful progress.
A featured panel session, “From Boardroom to Workforce: Aligning Leadership, Payers, and Implementation to Improve Sepsis Outcomes,” will examine how executive leadership, payer engagement, and frontline implementation can work together to advance sepsis care. The session will be moderated by Ithan Peltan.
Panelists include Eric Wei, MD, CEO of NYC Health; Sarah Birken, PhD, of Wake Forest University; and Androni Henry, MD, Associate CMO at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. The discussion will also include insights on HMS Sepsis.
